Board of directors
Elected by the active membership. Terms begin at the close of the annual conference and run one year, except at-large seats, which run two.
The Board of Directors sets the association’s direction, approves the budget and appoints committee chairs. It meets quarterly — twice in person, twice online — and its minutes are published here.
Board members serve while holding a records position in a Clearwater municipality. A director who leaves the profession leaves the board.

District directors
Each of the twelve districts elects its own director, who convenes district meetings and carries district concerns to the board. Districts vote at their autumn meeting.
