If your municipality is not listed
188 of Clearwater’s 214 municipalities are in CAMRO membership. The remainder still have a records officer — Chapter 44 requires one — they are simply not members. Call the municipal building and ask for the clerk.
Certification status refers to the CCRO credential, which is CAMRO’s professional certification. It is not the annual state recertification required of every appointed records officer under Chapter 44, which all of these officers hold. A clerk without a CCRO is not an uncertified clerk.
