CAMRO’s day within the League of Cities and Towns fall meeting. Worth 3 education points, and it is where we host the proctored session for the annual Chapter 44 recertification.
Schedule
- 8:30 am — Coffee and the autumn business meeting
- 9:30 am — The State Archivist on the 2027 General Retention Schedule revision
- 11:00 am — Breakouts: Ephemeral messaging after HB 1149 · Election year recordkeeping
- 12:30 pm — Lunch, included
- 1:30 pm — Proctored Chapter 44 recertification session
- 3:15 pm — District director elections, by district
- 4:00 pm — Close
The recertification session
Ninety minutes, open book, administered by the Clearwater State Archives. Bring your municipality’s current retention schedule — the Archives permits it and the questions assume you have it.
Sit it here or sit it online; you must sit it somewhere before 15 December. CAMRO does not receive your result and cannot tell you whether you have certified. The Archives can.
Registration
Free to CAMRO members attending the League meeting. Lunch requires registration by 1 October so we can give the Convention Center a number.
