How to join CAMRO
Membership runs on the calendar year. Join after 1 October and you are paid through the following year.
Four steps
1. Decide whether to join as a person or as a municipality
If you are the only person doing records work, join as Active. If your municipality has a deputy clerk, an assistant, or a department head who handles licensing, the Municipal membership covers four seats for less than four individuals and does not lapse when someone leaves.
2. Create your account
Membership is handled in the CAMRO member area. You will need your municipality, your appointment date and your supervisor’s name.
3. Pay
Card or invoice. Choose invoice if your municipality needs a purchase order — most do, and it does not delay your access.
4. Get on the listserv
The single most useful thing about membership, and it is opt-in. Do it on the confirmation screen; if you miss it, email the office.
A note on where this happens
Joining, renewing, paying and registering all take place at members.association-demo.com, which is CAMRO’s member management system. You will be leaving this website when you follow those links.
CAMRO’s public site holds no membership records, no payment details and no member list. That is deliberate.
Ready?
Ten minutes, and you will need your municipality's billing address.
