The office now answers the phone until 4:30
The CAMRO office is now staffed on the phone from 8:30 to 4:30, Monday to Friday, extended from 4:00.
The reason is unglamorous and worth stating. Reviewing the office log, the calls that came in after 4:00 were disproportionately urgent — a request deadline falling the next morning, a council meeting starting at 6:00 with a notice problem, an executive session about to be entered for a reason somebody had doubts about.
Those are the calls where an association is worth its dues, and they were going to voicemail.
